The recent revelation that an organisation which offers ‘support’ to ‘victims’ of sexual abuse spent public monies for purposes other than those for which they were given is hardly surprising seeing how easily such monies are thrown about (like confetti at a wedding) and how non-existent are the auditing processes.
The Department of Justice is clearly one of the major funders of the sex abuse industry. To protect the guilty the organisation is not named. Will it do the honourable thing and name itself? It wasn’t disclosed for what precise purpose the pubic monies were given and how they were precisely spent? Was it for counselling? Surely a Caribbean cruise would be the perfect environment for the reducing of stress for both the ‘counsellors’ and the ‘victims’? How could the mandarins of the Department of Justice begrudge such a junket having travelled on so many themselves!
